Gimme The Spoon!

Everyday I seem to learn something new! Well, now I feed myself. I even tried to feed the camera!

Day One

Well, school went GREAT! Since my mom and and dad weren't there all day my teachers left these notes to let them now how I did!

From Erin : Welcome to the seastar room! It is Hudson's first day and he is doing great! He is very observant of everything that is going on around him and today there was plenty of activity! We spent some time outside and then after a while he got a little but fussy so I offered him a snack. Wow he is a fantastic eater! I think that he could of sat there all day and kept eating. Right now he is sleeping and I will give him lunch when he wakes up. I am looking forward to getting to know Hudson!

From Nancy : Welcome to the seastars! I am really excited to get to know Hudson. When I arrived at 10:00 today Hudson was on the climber and he was very interested in what Ella was doing (and yes, Erin was sitting at the bottom of the steps!) He actually handled both the steps and the ramp really well. It is amazing what he will observe and learn from his peers. We will of course stay close to offer a hand, but give him the time to work though and see of he can problem solve, or figure it out.
I sat with Hudson at lunch today and Cate also had her lunch so he got to eat with a friend. He ate the whole container of pasta, loved the peas and carrots, and did an awesome job with his spoon with the fruit. I helped him with sips of water.
He settled in his crib fantastic, just looked around and then fell asleep. He is such a sweet guy and had a fantastic first day!

First Day of School!

I got my lunch box and Im all ready to go! I cant wait to go hang out with all my new friends today!

Summer is coming!

and that means lots of outdoor time! mom let me play with the hose last night, I didnt want to put it down. I loved to drink out of it!

Alright. I know how to sit, just not sure how to sit in the chair itself. This is frustrating.

Happy Birthday To ME!

Well, I did it. I made it through my first year! I would like to thank my parents for keeping me around! Lots to catch up on.

First, I had a birthday party! I had so much fun, I hope I get to have one of these every year!

Then on my real birthday day mom and dad took me to the zoo. animals are cool! I also got to slide down a big grass hill on a piece of cardboard. These big kid games are sure fun!

Second, my mom took me to the doctor today and he said I was very advanced for my age. I guess Im doing stuff Im not supposed to do until Im at least 18 months old. I just do what comes natural! The doctor also said Im very "confident" with a funny look on his face and asked my mom if she had anyone to take me off her hands every once in a while. Im not sure what they meant by that, I was too busy climbing on the scale and trying to open every drawer in the office.

Beach Day

Me and the parents went to the pit. I wasn't too sure about the ocean, it kinda freaked me out. I also wasn't too sure about the sand, but I eventually got used to it and loved it! Rocks are pretty cool too, I like to hit them together. I cant wait to go back! Here is me and the sand stuff

My Fort

My dad made me a fort out of cardboard boxes and Lucy tried to chew it apart!

I got to go swimming today in a pool for the first time ever! Me and the parents went to Uncle Jareds pool, I had sooooo much fun. I cant wait to go back again!

Summer?

Well its not summer yet, but it sure feels like it a lot around here. I love to play in the yard with Lucy in the tall grass and my mom got me my own dinosaur chair! Here's a video of me and Lucy playing in the grass

I went to shoreline park with mom today. There were leaves in the grass. I like leaves a lot. I wanted to eat them, apparently my mom didn't want me to. Something about seagull poop? Anyhow, it was fun!

Christmas Time!

Well that whole christmas thing was pretty fun, I think I finally understand what's it all about. I got lots of neat gifts and ate some wrapping paper... my favorite part was the paper and boxes!

YES. I know I havent blogged in a very long time (MOM!) A big sorry to all my fans! I guess everyone is really busy right now, Im sure looking forward to a slow winter. Lets catch everyone up. First there was my Thanksgiving photo shoot. It was warm out! I thought winter was supposed to be cold..


Then there was this santa person.. I had to sit on his lap? I hear he brings me presents but Im just not too sure about him yet



We also went to a get a tree. I did not want to stay put for the picture!



Then there was my xmas photos.. lets just say RUN AWAY SANTA! Sorry mom, it's only going to get harder the older I am!



Well I hear this Santa person is coming tomorrow and someone else very special... GRANDMA VAL!!! My mom was joking that she was just going to say goodbye to me now cause Im spending every second I can with my Grandma Val!

I am so sorry for keeping you both up every night for two weeks. If I could talk, I would of said THIS FREAKIN HURTS!!! I would also like to say.. Mom, stop trying to look at my teeth! My gums hurt and Im not going to show you yet so stop yanking on my bottom lip!

Happy Birthday Finn & Lucy!

I went to my first kid birthday party today! My mom's friend has TWO babies, they are twins! We had so much fun at the playground and watching the big kids. I can't wait until I'm 1 and get to eat cake!

Pumpkin Baby

I went to the pumpkin patch! I got to sit on tractors, get lost a in corn maze (my mom almost had a meltdown) play in the dirt, and get a pumpkin! Im not sure what I'm supposed to do with the pumpkin yet, but Im sure my parents will let me know. I can't wait to go trick or treating!
